The VMware Political Action Committee was established to assist candidates running for federal office. Contributions to the VMware PAC are not tax deductible for federal tax purposes as a charitable contribution. All contributions are voluntary and there is no obligation on anyone to contribute. Suggested contribution amounts are merely guidelines, and employees are free to contribute or refuse to contribute without reprisal. Federal law prohibits the VMware PAC from soliciting donations from anyone other than stockholders, executive and administrative personnel and the families of such individuals. Any contribution received from any other person will be returned to the donor.
